Brief summary of the WE

I'm really busy this week: lots of lectures, seminar/presentation, homework, suomi 1A tentti and so on.

Friday evening :
Party at the Spanish girls' flat.

Saturday:Suomen_ruoka_2
Helsinki_14_10_Hanna_261Hanna arrived from Tampere. Visit of Helsinki city centre - cathedrals, library, market square, Finnish national museum, etc.
This museum is really interesting. He liked especially the last parts -from 1917 to nowadays- where they show the everyday life of "normal people".
In the evening, I tasted  some sausage from Tampere. Actually, it looks like andouille with some kind of corn inside. The taste is not so bad as it looks like, but not so good as well.

Sunday:
After a small trip with the tram to "visit" some parts of Helsinki, we went to Suomenllina -again for me, but the first time for Hanna. I really like this island.

Then we took the tram again to go to Seurasaari. It is a peninsula in Helsinki with a open air museum. We cannot enter the houses in winter, but still walked around. There were a lot of squirrels. They now change their colour from brown to grey for the winter time. They were so nice and not scarred at all. Just look at the picture and you'll understand :)

In the evening, Kaisa -my tutor who is also a friend of Hanna, Hanna and Pierre came at home for a dinner. Thank you very much Kaisa for the Christmas chocolate and the "Glögi", and Hanna for The "Suukkoja Kyssar".

Monday:
Short visit in Otaniemi with Hanna, and back to work ...
